We were engaged to design a luxury Villa for family holidays and holiday rental accommodation in the Tropical location of Port Douglas. Material specification was carefully considered with the tropical weather and ever changing climate.
We embraced the architects plans , reconfiguring the interior floorplan for better functionality and elevating the interiors with beautiful finishes. Also Remapping the electrical and plumbing to work without plans.
Our clients requested timber and natural stone with a light base palette .Blending of durable materials we created a beautiful palette of timber laminate veneer , natural terazzo and Taj Mahal quartzite .This timeless aesthetic is cohesive through each space in different schemes .The end result is a play in materiality and textures durable in their nature and beautiful in their tone and appearance.
The internal space has Lots of louvers and big sliding doors for seamless open spaces , a large entertainers kitchen complete with butlers pantry and recess doors , integrated appliances large preparation bench and Bar with a large curved island sitting on a large curved inlay of Italian porcelain terrazo . The master bedroom behind the kitchen bedroom -Walk in robe and large ensuite with natural terazzo flooring. 3 x Bedroooms with ensuite , main bathroom and large laundry. Large recess glass doors flow from dining room out to the covered alfresco area and large plunge pool. This large and luxurious villa has been built with every detail and inclusion thoughtfully considered. Its now ready to be shared and enjoyed by all.
